weekly fitness routine

This is my ideal week, and by no means a schedule that I strictly stick to. Some weeks are better than others, and then there are those weeks where I travel for work, or we are away for the weekend and it all goes down hill. The one thing that I can honestly say is just as good for my body as it is for clearing my mind is SoulCycle. Call me basic, call it a cult, I am, it is, and it is worth every. penny. And it just so happened to connect me with some of my best friends AND boyfriend...post on that story to come...it's a good one! Anyway, this is what I shoot for. More details below!

run - I used to run a ton, upwards of 75 miles a week in fact, and while I still love a long jog on the beach, I typically run for 45 minute to and hour or 3-10 miles max

30 minute core + arms @ home - I love doing simple body weight exercises and using light weights at home - I also LOVED the free Barre3 Anywhere workouts and have incorporate a lot of this into my weekly routine

soulcycle - 45 minutes of heart pounding, sweat drenching, riding to the beat of the music. Unlike any other spin class out there and an absolute blast

active rest day - I try to get out and do something active but not particularly intense or anything that causes any straining twice a week to give my body a little break. Whether it's a long walk, golf, or a hike, we try and take advantage of the outdoors during good weather
