fall fun checklist
Now that it is officially October 1st, I'm no longer embarrassed for craving iconic fall items. Since October is here I decided it was time to make a checklist of all the fall things I crave during the other nine months of the year and anxiously await to indulge in. So let the pumpkin spice and cable knit cashmere commence!
1. First Pumpkin Spice Latte
Although not my absolute favorite, it is definitely a ceremonious order once the weather turns cold.
2. Pumpkin Pie Cupcakes
Its time to bake EVERYTHING pumpkin...these are my personal favorite.
3. Pumpkin Soup
Weird to some, but an absolute fall favorite of mine, thanks to my beautiful mother, who is quite talented in the kitchen and enjoys fun food.
4. Pumpkin Picking
Although my fondest memories of pumpkin picking are with my parents in the Hudson Valley, cue the gap hoodie and patchwork jeans, hay bails, and hot cider, going pumpkin picking with my girls in North Carolina isn't so bad!
5. Chunky Cable Knit Cashmere
I personally prefer the men's, for that roomy, comfy, borrowed look and feel. In LOVE with this color!
6. Fall Runs
Although I do love running along the water in the summer time, there is something special about crunching autumn leaves under foot.
7. Football Games & Tailgating
Fall means football in the South, so why not conform a little?
8. Puppy walks in the falling leaves
Although my pups are at home in New York, sometimes its nice to borrow a furry friend for a stroll around campus.
9. Squash. Acorn, butternut, you name it, I love it
Although I'll admit squash turnovers are an interesting concept, they are also tempting and next on the list of things to try in the kitchen.
10. Apple Picking
What could be more fun that romping around an apple orchard with your friends wearing cozy fall knits, picking apples?!
Ready? Set? Go!
