carry on travel
Since I will be joining over 24 million people flying this Thanksgiving season, I decided that I would share my tips and tricks for comfortable and easy flying in preparation for my departure home for the holiday. Since its a short trip I will be keeping my luggage light and sticking to a carry on duffle and a large tote.
1. The Vera Bradley Large Quilted Duffle
Unique enough to be easily sited on the carousel, yet sturdy enough to last a life time, these colorful bags are a great size for most trips and available in tons of fun patterns.
2. The Longchamp Large Tote
Not only are these totes the perfect size, and shape for all the necessities, but they zip shut and their handles are the perfect length and size for comfortable over the shoulder carry while schlepping around airports. Available in a variety of colors and personalized, they are the ideal accessory for any traveler.
3. The crucial items inside the tote!
Mac Book Pro 13 inch
Incase for Mac 13 inch
Bienfang Sketch Pad
Pilot Precise V5
Kate Spade Cedar Street Stacy Wallet
Travelpac Clear Toiletries Case
Kate Spade Tortoise Eye Glasses
Apple In-ear Headphones
Bliss Triple Oxygen Starter Set (under 3 oz bottles are perfect for travel!)
Deborah Lippmann Rich Girl Hand Cream
Smith Rosebud Salve
#4 The outfit. Personally, I feel that it is important to be both comfy AND presentable when flying. Since I fly back and forth to school pretty frequently I have it down to a bit of a science. The crucial pieces are cashmere, layers, and a little sparkle of course!
White + Warren Cashmere Trapeze Cardigan
Aerie Layering Long Sleeve
Lululemon Wunder Under
White + Warren Cashmere Travel Wrap
Classic Short Uggs in Chestnut (or riding boots like these!)
