where to begin?
3.5 years ago I set out to share my story. A story that didn't seem very different, unique, nor anymore enticing than anyone else trying to get started in the business of blogging. The crazy part is, the blogging world was a vastly different place back then. In just 3-4 years this world has evolved to a platform for some of the most incredible (and incredibly empowering) girl bosses and business women around that have taken a stand and proven that blogging absolutely IS a viable career, and people DO want to share their lives with the public in the name of elevating the world in some way.
I, for one, do not have that kind of following...obviously, because if you've somehow managed to stumble upon this you've either known me since I was 6, you are a part of my mother's wildly large social network (I have to hand it to her, it is quite impressive), or some bizarre social media algorithm plopped you here while you were scrolling through fancy smoothie bowls and avocado toast.
What I don't know...
1. If anyone will read this.
2. If anyone really cares what I'm up to these days
3. What blog readers REALLY want to see these days
What I do know...
1. Knowledge is power
2. The world can always use another female voice
3. Blogging can be a lot of fun and connect you with some pretty badass people
