BRB - running to scoop up this breezy maxi from Z Supply. Nothing quite like a t-shirt / tank dress for all the easy summer vibes. Happy Memorial Day Weekend everyone!
For me - the true quarantine uniform = crewneck cotton tee or sweater (99% of the time in white, black or navy) + FREECITY or Aviator Nation sweats, Lululemon leggings or jeans if I'm feeling fancy. And crew socks. It is truly a ~vibe~ and I refuse to apologize. But all jokes aside, my feet have been freezing while I sit at my desk staring into my computer screen(s) for hours on end, regularly forgetting to get up and move around and my mid-calf sock collection has been a lifesaver. How much fun is this tie dye Pink Floyd tee?
P.S. You can find all of my current favorite basics from top-to-bottom by hovering over the shop dropdown at the top of my site and selecting "style."
While strolling back from picking up a quarantine Monday special of curbside frozen yogurt, my fiancé and I decided that it might be fun to share some of his favorite styles and brands to shake things up a bit and just in case anyone is looking for some early Fathers Day / Gifts for Guys ideas! Check out the new mens page under my shop menu for more of Alex's favorite picks! Like many days in quarantine, Alex has been living in various pairs of Lululemon shorts and tees. If you then men in your life haven't tried the Lululemon 5 Year Basic Tee, they will likely LOVE this style and consistently grab it first from a pile of clean laundry. If you are into the polo look, we are loving this newer brand, Holderness & Bourne. They are fairly new on the scene, but their fabrics are amazing, breathable and wash really well - Alex recently ordered this style to add to his growing collection. Another tried and true favorite are these Peter Millar khakis. They are SO soft and always look incredibly polished. Honorable mention to our favorite mens accessories - Harding Lane for the best hats in the game(men's and women's), Smathers & Branson for all things needlepoint belts, wallets, etc. and FootJoy for super comfy loafers.
Another day in sweats, wishing I was wearing a breezy sundress. How cute is this pretty pink midi dress from Poupette St. Barth?!
Wishing I was out on the town with my girls in this cute outfit - but alas, instead I am sitting on the couch after a 12 hour work day and a 5 mile run. Guarantee that I will still be rocking the white on white long after my season as a bride-to-be is over. Who says you can't wear white all summer (spring, fall, and winter) long. Happy Friday, friends!
Since today was supposed to be the start of my Bachelorette Weekend in sunny Wrightsville Beach, NC with my bridesmaids - I've decided that I'm going to wear white all weekend anyway, as I go about my glamorous quarantine adventures ... from the couch ... to the kitchen ... and back to the couch ... I digress ... I will be sharing my favorite all white looks that I would MUCH rather be wearing this weekend, starting with this versatile travel look that would have taken me from a morning at the office in CT, to the airport, to sunny North Carolina.
