MY (VIRTUAL) BRIDAL SHOWER
I will preface this post by saying, yes, it was a total bummer that my bachelorette and in-person bridal shower were cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. With that being said, I am super happy that we chose to do it this way, as it reduced my overall anxiety about exposure risk and my virtual shower that my mom and little sister threw was AMAZING considering the circumstances. The three elements that were totally over the top and had my grinning ear to ear were 1) my very own bridal-blush balloon arch, 2) a super thoughtful video of pictures of me with all of the women in my life over the years that made me ugly cry, and 3) beautiful individual shower favors that they packed the week before and shipped to each of the virtual shower guests (SO thoughtful).

Each favor package included a couple of macarons (the bride's favorite), a petit four (an homage to Zoe's great grandmother), coordinating blush paper goods, confetti, a split of champagne and, of course, custom bridal shower hand sanitizer.

Even though it was just the three of us, we wanted to be extra cautious, so they completely transformed the porch on my parents' house into bridal heaven - complete with the balloon arch of my dreams, gigantic gorgeous floral arrangements, a tower of gifts, tons of champagne and lots of confetti :)

While I had originally purchased a very elegant and bridal midi-length dress for a dressier version of my bridal shower, I opted for a casual white-on-white look last-minute, as I wanted to be comfortable and able to move around easily.
